Kevin is singing Candle In The Wind at Pattaya Bay Thai Restaurant in Los Feliz.  The lady on stage with Kevin is playing the piano and harmonizing with him.  She uses a walking cane.  The lady on the right, moments later, will get into a big fight with an ex-lover in the outside parking lot.  He is accused of spreading rumors.  The kitchen staff will empty the kitchen to watch it.  The lady with the walking can will also go outside to watch it.  And Peter and I are eating Kevin’s fried rice as he is singing.

11.6 mile architectural bike ride with Brian of Bikehaus as part of the East Hollywood ArtCycle.

Around 40 riders convened at the LA Cahuenga Branch Library, and headed north to Barnsdall Art Park.

Headed back to the ArtCycle event.  If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for any event which closes off LA streets to cars.  Santa Monica Blvd was closed between Vermont and Virgil, bringing to “light” the city’s Bureau of Street Lighting yard, which many in the community want to make into an urban green park.

with Abel, Danny, Chris, and Nick.  Started at Umami Burger.

stopped at the Silver Lake Spice Station.

second stop: Good Microbrew

Took a detour up the historic Hoover Steps.

Third Stop : Home, where Nick met us, and jogged with us .4 miles to our last stop…

2.8 miles and four bars… in four and a half hours.

Then biked over to Stephanie Wang and Vincent Perea’s new apartment for a birthday bbq.

Unsuccessful bike ride up to Griffith Observatory, then to Bar 1642 w/ Isaac, followed by Umami Burger.
